Sorry, i'm a bit new to the way in which this CS is set out but:
Is there any easy way I can combine the animations into the Max mesh, so they're all in one file like they are for the .MS3D meshes?
Thanks.

I would like to give you an answer but I don't use max files, so I don't know how to do it. I know it can be done rather easily though, just can't tell you the steps.  Sorry. Embarrassed

I'm in need of the exact same answer.
I'd like to have all the animations into one file as a biped animation and a small tutorial on how I can load that. I did this before but I really don't remember how.
Btw this pack rulles but it's just a bit... how should I say it? Given the fact that there are only guys right now.

Sure you can  Grin
obviously you'll have to work a bit
1) save all animation from "character studio", by click on the floppy icon, the file must be in .bip format !

now, when you have your compilation with 157 bip files you're reday to step2

2) create new file, with the biped, in character studio go to MixerMode
(the 4th tiny icon in character studio) then click on the Mixer button.
that will bring up the mixer  Cheesy
on the light gray bar on top, click with the RMB "new clip"->"from file" and load the first Bip file.

cool ! \o/
you can load on this way all the animation that you made, but you've didn't done yet :p

now that you have a 10576 frames animation, (be sure that Bip001 is selected) go to Mix menu, and then click on "Computete Mixdown"

that will "collapse" all animation in one single ...."clip"
uncheck - Enforce IK Constrains
uncheck - Filer Hiper-Extended Legs
check   - A Keyframe per Frame.

once you've done.. you can export it !

Have fun Smiley
