hi,

it seems that the Irrlicht-Engine (irrlicht.sf.net) has problems with models from the CS_Warriors_&_Commoners-pack. I loaded the ms3d-versions and only the static fat-man-model seems to be correct.

How can I found out, if this is a bug of the models or the engine?
Maybe someone can compile the engine and test?
Or can I have the models in different formats?

Hello,

I'm sorry for the delay.
Unfortunatly, I can't help because I don't have any experience with the Irrlicht-Engine.

Do you made some progress?

nope  Undecided

I installed the trial version of Milkshape and exported the models to different formats, but none of these worked as intented with the irrlicht-engine.
Even with the free 3D tool 'blender' I had no success.

Is it possible to get a single-animation (maybe the 'sit down' animation) version of the muscle-model to submit it to the irrlicht-team to fix the problems?

Greetings,

I've played around with the Irrlicht engine and the CS:Warriors and Commoners set (BTW I want the female version now Smiley)

It seems that the only fully animated version that seems to work is B3D. I spent a lot of time importing/exporting/manipulating the base files and found that converting from Milkshape to B3D via a program called Ultimate Unwrap 3D Pro worked. It was a real pain in the rear since I work mainly on a Mac, however there you go.

That format works 100% as far as I can tell, but I haven't tested every possible case.

Hope it helps,
David
