Hi gang/Christophe...

Are there any plans on creating a female pack that would work with Warriors and Commoners?

mark,

The next pack will be the CS:Women and Wizards, and of course it will contains females.
It will be compatible with the CS:Warriors and Commoners.

I think I will have more news at the beginning of 2008.

Sorry for the delay!

We are very busy here at Frogames, and we have nothing to show atm.
The CS:Women & Wizards production will begin next month (April), so you just have to wait a few more weeks Smiley

Thank you for your patience!

Hey all,

New to the forums and couldn't help but make an account to comment and question Christophe's awesome models.  I'm a huge fan of the style and colors used in each one.  I'm a total newbie when it comes to both modeling and game development but I'm doing as much research to find the best models and textures I can to make a simple RPG type game for my first "project".

The Warriors and Commoners pack is fantastic and definitely what I was looking for.  Can't wait for the next pack in the series too.  I've tried looking for some updated news regarding the pack but this seems to be the best place to keep an eye on and ask "is there any news on the pack?".

Also, keep up the fantastic work Christophe.  I haven't used any of your models yet but I'm already a huge fan.  So that should say something about the quality and appeal of your work.  Grin

Hello Raiten,

Thank you for your enthusiasm!

We are working on the next pack, which is a Wizards pack.
I will post an official announcement soon!

Great to hear.

I've been reading around and saw a thread(don't know where anymore lol) and it mentioned something regarding not being able to use the character models as actual Player Characters without some kind of modification.  Is that true or wold it be possible to use the standard "NPC" models as PCs?

there is no technical issue to use CS characters as Player Characters, but the polycount is very low (less than 1000 triangles) and some game developers prefere more detailed characters as player characters.

That's not too big of a concern for me since it would be the very first "game" I would make lol.  Once I get a bit more familiarized with 3DS Max or another program I'll try and create my own characters with higher polycounts.

Thanks for the fast replies and answers.  Smiley
