So with the female pack will that include all the previous model "types" from Warriors and Commoners and Wizards as well?  If so that would be fantastic, and quite a large pack.  Hopefully the price on that won't be too expensive either Tongue

Also, another question regarding the "tools" you use.  What program do you use for animations?  I've been searching around for one that would be relatively simple to use but can't really find one.  GarageGames has their TorqueMotion pack but they don't have any kind of "battle" motions, which kind of makes it bleh.  I know there are some 3D model programs that have an animation feature in it, like 3DS Max, but they to me might be a bit...difficult to get started out on.

Anyway, I just wanted to know what program you use, or would recommend for a beginner.

Looks good Christophe Keep it up!, I'll deffinatelly buy your new pack Wink

will this pack also include female's?

Unfortunately it won't.  He was having some issues with the females and decided to make them 2 separate packs.  The next pack is going to be wizards.  Then it should be females after that.

They do indeed have great models, very realistic and well made.  But like I said, I was looking for something more along the style you created.  I like yours better than others  Tongue haha

Oh well, not a big deal.  I could do without the interior for now.  Having a functioning "game" is more important than pretty house interiors lol.

If you don't my asking, what color pallete do you use to color your models/textures?  If I do indeed try to create something on my own to match the style you made I want to try and use the same color pallete as well.  I'm sure I could use the "eye dropper" tool in Photoshop, but figured I'd ask anyway.  Tongue

That's not too big of a concern for me since it would be the very first "game" I would make lol.  Once I get a bit more familiarized with 3DS Max or another program I'll try and create my own characters with higher polycounts.

Thanks for the fast replies and answers.  Smiley

Great to hear.

I've been reading around and saw a thread(don't know where anymore lol) and it mentioned something regarding not being able to use the character models as actual Player Characters without some kind of modification.  Is that true or wold it be possible to use the standard "NPC" models as PCs?

I've checked each thread/section on the forums but couldn't quite find my answer.  Also the description for the "Houses Model Packs" don't really specify.

I want to use the models from the Dungeon Pack and Warriors and Commoners and possibly the Dungeon Guardians pack.  But to make it a free roaming RPG game I want buildings to be in the same style as the rest of the world(obviously lol).  So the Houses Models...are they just exterior models and exterior models only or do they have interiors?  I'm going to assume it's exterior only due to the difficulty in making a full inside and out building, but does anyone know of another place that could provide me with something like this?  Or if Christophe, you'll be making something like this in the future?

If not I'll have to try and recreate the style and color of the other packs...which will be hard since i'm new to all of this lol.  Thanks for any replies.

Hey all,

New to the forums and couldn't help but make an account to comment and question Christophe's awesome models.  I'm a huge fan of the style and colors used in each one.  I'm a total newbie when it comes to both modeling and game development but I'm doing as much research to find the best models and textures I can to make a simple RPG type game for my first "project".

The Warriors and Commoners pack is fantastic and definitely what I was looking for.  Can't wait for the next pack in the series too.  I've tried looking for some updated news regarding the pack but this seems to be the best place to keep an eye on and ask "is there any news on the pack?".

Also, keep up the fantastic work Christophe.  I haven't used any of your models yet but I'm already a huge fan.  So that should say something about the quality and appeal of your work.  Grin
