Hello, i recently bought warriors and commoners from the asset store and found that to get the different textures together you have to follow the template and put it into one material however for my game i need to be ale to change the body/pants etc. textures to be able to simulate different types of armor and to do this i need to be able to change a specific material which will be designated for a specific body part i.e. have five materials on a character, one for body, one for legs, one for hands, one for feet, and one for the head so that i could change the texture of say the torso armor depending on what armor is equipped. i have the script worked out but i just need to if it would be possible to do this and if so how i could. Thanks for any helpful answers anyone may come up with.

Mellow,

I'm not sure to understand what is your question, but I'm going to try an answer Smiley

- If you want to change the different body part of your character, Unity allows you to paste a texture into another one using scripts. Don't ask me how ... I'm just an artist Smiley

- In the previous version of the Warriors and Commoners, characters used 5 different materials (head, body, hans, legs and feet). The $150 version of the pack available in the  www.frogames.net Store includes both the 1 material and the 5 materials version. Contact me if you want to update to it ( christophe (a) frogames.com )

I'm still getting used to unity so the differences between packages aren't standing out to me at this point.

Can you detail the differences between the old unity package and the new one?

Thanks.

Canon any way I can get access to the pack that has the characters with separate materials. Im currently in the exact same boat as mellow911 as i just purchased the pack off the asset store Saturday and found the textures had been combined making it a pain to switch parts of the character on the fly and also having different materials in general. I sent a email to you yesterday about this but figured i would try here also.
